The first Gentle Monster flagship in Japan, sitting right next to Prada's glass tower in one of Aoyama's prime spots. Two floors of immersive retail that feels more like walking through a contemporary art gallery than shopping for sunglasses. The ground floor features three giant kinetic head sculptures with blinking eyes and subtle movements — genuinely mesmerizing to watch. Upstairs has a gorilla sculpture and star installation that extend the brand's exploration of the human psyche. The full optical and sunglasses range is presented around the installations, including Maison Margiela collaborations. Even if you're not buying eyewear, it's worth a visit purely for the experience.
